SUNNYVALE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–
Hillstone
Networks
, a leading provider of enterprise network firewall solutions, today announced that the company has maintained, for a second year, its position in the Magic Quadrant for Unified Threat Management by Gartner, Inc*. In its report, Gartner analysts Jeremy D’Hoinne, Adam Hils, Greg Young and Rajpreet Kaur wrote, “Browser-based management, ease of configuration, embedded reporting, and localized software and documentation don’t specifically appeal to large enterprises, but are highly valued by SMBs in this market.”

Hillstone Networks is aware of the diverse needs of large enterprises versus the SMB market. Hillstone’s solutions address and support the guidance proposed by Gartner. As Gartner indicates, “Security buyers should instead evaluate UTM devices based on the controls they will actually use, the performance they will get for those features, and the quality of vendor and channel (and managed services) support that is available.”

“We believe that maintaining our position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for a second year is a proud accomplishment and a testament to the vision, innovation and dedication of the entire Hillstone Networks organization,” said Lingling Zhang, vice president of marketing at Hillstone Networks. “At Hillstone, our vision is to provide the appropriate level of controls, performance, services and support options for the UTM target market to ensure that their business is protected and responsive.”

In addition to its inclusion in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Unified Threat Management, Hillstone Networks was selected to the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Network Firewalls** for the second year in a row.
